I created the brand look and feel as well as the naming convention for Good News Ice Cream, an artisanal ice cream shop located in the heart of downtown Madison, Wi. The colors were selected from classic architecture styles prominent in the local area that happened to support the timelessness of a classic ice cream shop.
I created the name based on the idea that ice cream is always in season and always is good news in any situation. Simple as that. The ice plant logo was created as a funny way to talk about where ice cream comes from.
